In another 2 days, 2010 starts.

I can't remember where and when, but I read that 2009 would be a good year for the monkey in its first half but horrible at the second. I often dismiss stuff like this, but after going through the year I'm 50% obliged to say: IT'S FUCKING TRUE.

Dad randomly bought some zodiac book, and it said that 2010 would be a busy year, though not so bad. So hopefully all goes well.

Right now, I'm staring at the pile of shit I call "NYJC '09 End-Year Killjoy", and am contemplating whether to start on it after a VERY long hiatus. So many distractions lately, have filled my mornings for the last 4 days with tennis and squash, and original schedule WAS to do work for the whole afternoon. Guess how that turned out.

Again, I'm contemplating just picking up my unfinished "The Coffin Dancer" and just read it until my lunch comes, or go play DW6: Empires (It's not as bad as I thought...). Oh well, at least can look forward to lunch :D. I have this huge urge to down 3 packets of chips before lunch...

School's starting in...what, roughly 1 week's time? Lessee...I have yet to finish up my history homework, so it shouldn't be so bad. For NYJC-ians: Must we do the Maths Revision Package?

Anyway, yet to start revision, so block test shall be flunked. Praying they don't retain me.

Oh, and a VERY belated Christmas and Boxing Day everyone.

And I wonder why it's called Boxing Day? Highly misleading.

FINALLY...back at home, on my bed. Hopefully can get some decent sleep; have been unable to sleep longer than 5 hours due to jet lag and other problems...

Anyhow, stopover in Japan was to be expected...boring -.-. Save for the hot springs, those were fun :D. Visited Harajuku and Akihabara, didn't see much there. BBQ dinner wasn't spectacular too :(.

Anyway, that all happened yesterday. Sat a 7 hour plane ride back, comfy. Finished my economics homework (amazingly, the plane IS a good environment for doing homework), before taking out my laptop to watch Lost. Love the show, so intriguing. Spent 6 hours of the ride watching it. Whoo.

Rushed for dinner, then home for immediate packing. Kinda weird to unpack everything just to have to put almost everything back again. Just realized I left with 2 shirts and 1 pair of jeans, but came back with 10 or more shirts and 3 pairs of jeans. Shit. Oh well, at least got a better wardrobe now.

Finally in LA...love the atmosphere and weather. Went to Universal Studios as a starter to my 2 day stay.

IT WAS SOME FUN SHIT. Started out with a tour around Universal to show the sets for awesome movies such as Jaws and Jurassic Park, with many surprises and jokes along the way. Really cool. Their Spongebob water-bottle is cool. Lunch-ed, then watched some lame show, before going for a show highlighting the special effects and CGI of a movie. The emcees were EXTREMELY funny, laughed like mad. LOL at Sarah Palin and Angelina Jolie references. Watched another lame show, before going for the highlight of the day: SIMPSONS SIMULATOR! Great deal of fun, vertigo feeling was just so fun and realistic.

Anyways, bought many souvenirs, and am having trouble packing all of them. Still have Japan :(. Oh well.

Love Disneyland :D.

And that's about it for today. Gonna watch Wimbledon finals now :D.

FINALLY...INTERNET, can't live without it.

Anyways, lots of things happened during the last few days. Mostly good :D.

1st Day in Las Vegas: Reached Sin City, and what Americans coined "The Entertainment Capital of the World", but started out horribly. Mix-ups, delays, late...blah blah blah. Went to watch 2 shows, but fell asleep during both shows. Musicals and I just DO NOT mix.

2nd Day in LV: Woke up at an insane hour, and as usual was rushing like mad. Supposed to go Grand Canyon, but due to horrible weather, called off :(. But the good thing is, at least I've got the whole day free, and that's when everything looked bright :D. Went to a street with all the factory outlets of many brands e.g Adidas, Banana Republic, Mark Ecko, Armani Exchange...you name it, they have it. And the best part is, they're all nearly 50% cheaper than the prices at the retail stores! Whole family went on a EXTREME shopping spree, came back with nearly 10 or so plastic bags...including me :D. Managed to refurbish my wardrobe, got better clothes. No jeans and bermudas though :(, someone tell me where to get good bermudas!!! Watched the best show EVER, DAVID COPPERFIELD LIVE!!! Great magician, and a good joker too. Loved that day. Oh, I managed to get some souvenirs.

3rd Day in LV: Woke up badly, but day turned out well. Not as happening as the other day, as usual: shopping, shows, TV. Watched some boring French musical, fell asleep for nearly half a show. But the next show was AWESOME. BLUE MAN GROUP FTW. And the best: I MANAGED TO RESET MY MACBOOK'S PASSWORD!!! Got a better software at a lower price than in Singapore, downloaded it AND did not lose a single piece of data. Got a 8GB thumb-drive too :D.

Today: Left Las Vegas for Los Angeles, stopped by some gas station or something for a small break. Retail shops there, so got more stuffsssss. Lots of stuffsssss. Anyway, now at Disneyland Resort, and love the room :D.

2nd day at SF...weather is freaking cold, felt my face and fingers go numb, which really sucks.

The American people are such a fun group of people. Saw a group of them sitting on one of the trams on the roads of SF singing Christmas songs. The pedestrians joined along in the singing too. Such a fun environment :D. Wanna live and work in the US, but still wanna retire in Switzerland.
